Will there be physical editions of the Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered and Legacy of Kain: Ascendance?
We hope so. We are planning physical editions of both Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered and Legacy of Kain: Ascendance, but we haven’t finalized those plans yet, so we can’t provide details at this time.
What platforms will Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered be released on?
PlayStation 4 & 5, Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, Xbox X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam, Epic, GoG

Why is the Heart of Darkness Collection not available for Pre-Order on platforms other than Xbox and PlayStation?
Platforms other than Xbox and PlayStation do not allow pre-ordering bundles when the items in the bundle release on different dates. The Heart of Darkness Collection will be available on March 31st on Steam, Epic, Nintendo, and GoG platforms.
What is the preorder incentive?
The pre-order incentive is the Shifter Skin Pack. This incentive is available only on Xbox and PlayStation, as other storefronts do not support preorders for bundles or bundles that include items with different release dates.
The Shifter Skin Pack will also be available for individual purchase following the release of Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered on March 3.
What is the difference between the Ascendance Skin Pack and the Shifter Skin Pack?
The Shifter Skin Pack is a pre-order incentive with all available versions of Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered. It will be available for individual purchase after launch.
The Ascendance Skin Pack is included in the Heart of Darkness Collection and will be available for individual purchase after the launch of Defiance.
Are there additional skins in the game?
Yes. In addition to the DLC skin packs, Legacy of Kain Defiance Remastered features several earnable skins for both Kain and Raziel.
Are there plans for post-launch content or updates?
Future updates, patches, or additional content will be communicated through official channels.
